Step-by-step instructions

Lie flat on your back on a comfortable surface, such as a yoga mat or carpet.

Bend one knee and bring your leg as close to your chest as possible by grabbing your thigh or knee.

Try to straighten this leg, feeling a stretch in the back of your thigh.

Hold the stretch for the desired amount of time, then repeat with the other leg.

Remember to keep your other leg flat on the floor throughout the stretch.
